Our Story

Hi! Thanks for taking time to read about who we are. We are two sisters-in-law, Mandy & Carey, who love using our creativity to dream up new things.

We enjoying spending time together and have built our ideas into a business. In February of 2018 we opened our Etsy store, Sister Made Design, and have loved sharing our creativity with others. There’s no limit to our dreams and ideas and on weekends we can be found sharing new ideas over coffee.

The artist, Mandy, is a kindergarten teacher with over 20 years of experience. Mandy has three kids, an 18-year-old son, 13-year-old son, and 10-year-old daughter. Mandy and her husband have made Lynchburg, Virginia their home.

After working in the jewelry business for 11 years, Carey chose a second career as a stay-at-home mom in 2010. She has an 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. Carey and her husband also live in Lynchburg, Virginia.
